This wedding had soul- and lots of it. Jesse + Kevin tied the knot at Brahma Ridge Event Center in the mountains of North Carolina, and their day was filled from beginning to end with personal and eco-friendly touches made by family and friends. The day began with the bride in a family heirloom silk wedding dress that had been worn by five women in her family and for the ceremony, she donned gold family heirloom jewelry and a second previously owned ivory silk wedding dress. The couple’s dog stepped up as ring bear, the bride’s dad handcrafted a beautiful escort card tree, Mom shopped at thrift stores and flea markets to create the collection of vintage bottles and china and an aunt made the wedding cake. Jesse + Kevin also created a sweet off-shoot of off the main tent that included hand made nook filled with photos of the bride & groom and their families.
